Ian Noble
Architect (semi-retired)
Ian has been with GQA on a part-time basis for over 7-8 years. He came to us a master in the field of detailing and with penmanship to suit. Ian qualified as an architect in the 1950s and has worked for several large practices such as Walker Harwood & Cranswick, Basil Spence & Partners and as a partner in Renton Howard Wood Levin Partnership throughout the UK and abroad. He gained his final Qualification as an architect in 1955.

Architect
Martin has a wide range of architectural experiences in the UK, Hong Kong, Europe and the USA, working on projects varying in size from interior fit-outs and private residences to health care buildings and commercial projects. He has the capacity to span all areas of design from concept master-planning and urban design to detailed design, and the experience of handling building contract activities and documentation and liasing with various authorities and contractors. Martin has a Masters Degree in the study of International Vernacular Architecture under Dr Paul Oliver. He is fluent in English and Italian.

Ayaka is among the promising young professionals in the heritage conservation field and has a variety of UK and International experience in building conservation. With her comprehensive understanding of heritage management and her excellent design skills, she has contributed to a number of projects at Giles Quarme & Associates including the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich. Ayaka studied heritage conservation over eight years in the UK, Italy, Pakistan and Japan. She was an intern at ICCROM (International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property) in Rome and at the National Research Institute for Cultural Properties at Nara in Japan. She has also been involved in the conservation of the Gandhara monuments in Pakistan, working closely with UNESCO and the Japan Trust Fund.
Natasha Brown, BA (Hons) Th St, BA (Hons) Arch, Dip Arch

Architectural Assistant
Natasha has been with GQA for over six and a half years. She originally studied Theatre Studies at Lancaster University. Following international travel and production work she acted as Office Manager at GQA whilst under going a part-time degree in Architecture at Greenwich University and then her postgraduate Diploma in Architecture at Westminster University. She returned to us full time in June this year with her RIBA Part II to continue her development of the world of conservation architecture and education.
Arabella
Office Manager/PA
Arabella does sterling good work amongst the mad world of managing architects and designers. She has been with the Practice for over two years as PA to GQ and as the Office Manager.
